YTS believes that MUN can be the part of the extra-circular activity while at the same time encourages students to practice what they have learned in theory. Thus we seek to spread the knowledge among the young generation to interest them in participating as well as organizing MUN workshop in schools/colleges. The workshop aims to provide the background and resourceful information on MUN and its rules of procedures. We also conduct short committee session where students get first hand demonstration of a MUN committee session. We encourage students who wish to participate in the upcoming national and international MUNs to attend the workshop as it provide a solid base for gaining insight on MUNs and how to be an outstanding delegate.

Significance of MUN workshop, academics subjects and extracurricular activities complement each other and develop well rounded, socially skilled and healthier students. However in the Nepalese society, the importance of extra-circular activities has not yet be realized.
