A scholarship fund amounting to Rs. 10,000,000 is set up by YTS in partnership with Sahayeta.org, and US based nonprofit organization of Nepalese professionals. The fund has been utilized to support students who have been affected by the earthquake. To this date we have provided scholarships to 17 children in Kathmandu and 14 in humla. In addition, we also opened 75 scholarship seats for students from marginalized communities for participation in EIMUN 2015 and hopes to do so in future iterations of EIMUN as well.
